Introduction
Mancini Food, is developing in Lenola, a small village with just over 4,000 inhabitants. Its foundation is by Mancini Thomas, Dr. in gastronomic political culture sciences for well-being. The aim is to create a profile, through the use of social networks, where to promote their creations and transmit the right values in the food and wine sector, (in the future also to create a real activity aimed at selling local km0 products). To counteract misinformation, even if minimally given the little media redundancy, but in accordance with the words of Mother Teresa of Calcutta "What we do is just a drop in the ocean, but the ocean without that drop would be smaller" and stubborn as a mule continues straight on its way.
Redemption through cooking: the birth of Mancini Food and my personal rebirth
Hi, I'm Mancini Thomas and in this article I want to tell you the story of my brand and the goals it promotes.
But let's start slowly, the Mancini Food brand was born from my desire for redemption. In fact, since elementary school and throughout middle school, I was seen by teachers as a bad boy. This gradually made me lose my passion for studying, which was rekindled only during high school. During these years I understood what my future would be, namely the world of food and wine. It was precisely in the early years that I began to develop the brand, but between studying and long trips to and from school, the time available was little. This was until March 9, 2020 when the world stopped, the first lockdown was announced in Italy, with distance learning, free time increased significantly. So I decided to use the latter to give life to my dream, so I started to publish the first photo / video recipes on my personal profile. Which however was hacked in May 2022, in a matter of seconds I lost everything I had built in two years. But this didn't stop me, I came back stronger and more determined than before and in September of the same year I opened a new page. It is precisely on this date, therefore, that MANCINI FOOD was officially born. Currently a page where I upload photos of the recipes that I love to make the most, but in a revisited way.
Recipes, Awareness and 0 Km Products: Mancini Food's Objectives for Sustainable Nutrition
This brand has multiple purposes, the first one that gave life to everything mainly concerns uploading photos and in the near future also videos of the recipes that I make. Alongside the latter an explanation that describes the dish, its nutritional values and the reason why to prefer it. This is as far as the online activity of the brand is concerned, in fact the intention is to accompany this with an offline activity that therefore connects us to the second purpose of the brand. That is, the administration of the products made, an activity that I have already had the opportunity to put into practice, thanks to the enormous support provided to me by the company where I work that provided me with the equipment and raw materials to start production. We therefore come to the last purpose of the brand, that is, to raise awareness (as mentioned at the beginning) of conscious consumption. Favouring quality over quantity, seasonality over off-season and the local over abroad.
